Shipping Policy
Last updated: October 10, 2025
This Shipping & Delivery Policy describes how orders for medical devices from Taevas Life Sciences (“Taevas”, “we”, “our”, “us”) are processed, fulfilled, shipped, delivered, and under what terms. It applies to orders placed via our online store or other ordering channels unless otherwise agreed in writing.
1. Order Processing
- After you place an order, we will send you an order confirmation (email or SMS) with product, quantity, price, expected delivery timeline, and shipping address.
- We typically begin processing orders within 7-10 working days after payment confirmation (or receipt of cleared funds).
- In-stock / ready-to-ship items are prioritized. Custom or special orders may require additional time for manufacturing or quality checks.
- You may be required to provide additional verification (identity documents, prescriptions, regulatory compliance) before order acceptance for regulated medical devices.
- We reserve the right to refuse, suspend, or cancel an order if we detect fraud, noncompliance, or other legitimate issues.
2. Shipping Methods & Carriers
- Taevas partners with trusted logistics carriers, courier partners, freight forwarders, and medical transport services.
- Depending on destination, shipments may use standard courier, air freight, surface transport, or specialized medical transit.
- Domestic deliveries may use express or standard courier services.
- International deliveries may require customs processing and regulatory clearance.
3. Delivery Timeframes & Estimates
- Delivery times are estimates only and depend on factors such as carrier schedules, customs, weather, and regulations.
- Domestic deliveries typically take 3-14 business days depending on the location from dispatch.
- Remote or hard-to-reach areas may require additional time.
- In case of delays (customs, supply chain, force majeure), we will notify you with revised timelines.
4. Additional Terms for Rental Devices
For rental or leased devices, delivery logistics differ. After confirmation of your rental agreement and deposit, Taevas will coordinate delivery, installation, and setup at your location. Timelines depend on site readiness, availability, and regional logistics.
All rented devices remain the property of Taevas Life Sciences. You are responsible for safe custody and appropriate use. Devices must be cleaned, packed, and accessible for pickup at the end of the rental term. Damage, missing parts, or delays may incur charges.
Relocation of a rented device requires prior written approval from Taevas and may incur additional charges.
5. Risk, Title & Responsibility
- Unless agreed otherwise, risk of loss, damage, or delay transfers to you once the package leaves our premises or is handed to the carrier.
- Title (ownership) may remain with Taevas until full payment is received.
- You must ensure someone is available to receive the shipment at the delivery address.
- Inspect the package upon delivery and notify the carrier and us immediately of any visible damage.
6. Shipping Costs & Charges
- Shipping charges (freight, handling, packaging, customs, duties, taxes) will appear at checkout or in a separate quotation.
- International orders may require you to pay import duties, taxes, or customs fees unless otherwise specified.
- Free or subsidized shipping may be offered during promotions.
- Additional surcharges (fuel, remote area fees, express handling) may apply in some regions.
7. Packaging, Handling & Special Requirements
- Devices are packaged securely with cushioning, shock protection, and temperature controls as needed.
- Temperature-sensitive devices may use insulated packaging and cold-chain logistics.
- Special requests (white-glove delivery, installation, calibration on delivery) must be pre-arranged and may incur extra charges.
8. Customs, Import & Regulatory Compliance
- For international shipments, you are responsible for ensuring compliance with import regulations, customs requirements, and local regulatory approvals.
- We provide required documents such as invoices, packing lists, certificates, and regulatory paperwork.
- Delays or costs from customs holds, inspections, or noncompliance are your responsibility.
- Some countries require medical device registration—check local regulations before ordering.
9. Tracking & Notifications
- Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a shipment notification with tracking number(s), carrier name, and updates.
- You can track shipments on the carrier’s tracking portal.
- Status updates (e.g., “Out for delivery”, “Delayed”) may be sent by email or SMS.
10. Delivery Failures, Misses & Reattempts
- If delivery fails (no answer, wrong address, carrier issues), the carrier may attempt redelivery or hold the package.
- Additional charges may apply for reattempted deliveries or redirections.
- If the package returns to Taevas after failed delivery attempts, return freight and re-shipment charges may apply.
- If unclaimed within 10 days, we may cancel the order or refund subject to deductions.
11. Cancellations, Returns & Exchanges
- Once an order is “Dispatched / In Transit”, cancellation may not be possible.
- If you request cancellation before dispatch, we will attempt to halt the shipment.
- Returns or exchanges follow our official Return & Refund Policy.
- Devices must be returned in original condition; inspection or restocking fees may apply.
12. Damages, Loss & Claims
- You must inspect your shipment on delivery and notify us and the carrier within 3 hours of any damage or discrepancy.
- Claims must include written details, photos, and supporting evidence.
- Valid claims may be eligible for repair, replacement, or refund.
- We may reject claims that lack sufficient evidence.
13. Force Majeure & Unforeseen Delays
- Taevas is not liable for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control (natural disasters, strikes, government actions, supplier issues, pandemics).
- We will notify you of delays and provide revised delivery estimates.
14. Amendments & Updates
- We may update this Shipping & Delivery Policy periodically.
- The latest version will always be available on our website with the “Last Updated” date.
- Material changes may be communicated via email or announcements.
